It's just me, checking in again. Does anybody read this blog? I linked to it on my website, so somebody must know about it.
For the past few weeks, this mobile game has been consuming my life. I don't normally play mobile games, because they mostly suck and because I normally forget that they are actually on my phone.
The game I have been playing is Mystic Messenger. It's this weird dating simulator app where it simulates a chat room and phone calls instead of a regular visual novel. One good thing about it is that you have to actually play it often so you don't get the bad ending, which stops it from being one of those forgotten apps sitting on my home screen.
I got the bad ending first, because I didn't play it enough, then I got one normal ending with the person I really didn't want to date, then I just got a good ending again, and now I'm starting to play it again. I don't know why I like this game so much.
There are micro transactions in this game, but luckily if you play hard enough you can earn enough virtual money to unlock all the good stuff. Some people stay up at 3AM for this game, but I don't really want to sacrifice my precious sleep for a shitty mobile game.
Maybe I just like this game because it feels like I actually have friends texting me. I don't know. If your into these kinds of games, I would really recommend it. The only thing bad about it is that the most attractive character in the entire game isn't available to date. :(
Unfortunately, if you are a Windows Phone user, this game is not available to you. I'm glad I've moved on to another mobile OS now. It was painful watching all of the other people play all the good games on their phones while I had to wait ages for them to be available for me.
Well, that's all I have to say now. Goodbye!
