Another Ikemen Game is Coming...

It looks like another Ikemen game is being localised. I heard about this one ages ago from someone else's blog post. The title is: "Ikemen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast". I do love games with a fairytale theme!

I was going to embed the trailer here, but apparently Avex (this massive record label who I presume own the rights to the trailer's music) have blocked the sharing of their videos on third party sites. Go and search for it yourself if you really want to see it.

IkePrince's art does look quite gorgeous. I like the character designs a lot. My favourite character (just from looking at them) is the blonde one who reminds me of IkeSen's Kenshin. Apparently his name is "Chevalier Michel". Why do I always like the cold ones the most? I can already guess what his route is going to be like...

Kissed by the Baddest Bidder - Soryu Sequel Review

Do people still read this blog? I seem to be getting views, but they could just be bots.

Last night, I was bored. I decided to boot up Love 365 for the first time in months so that they wouldn't delete my account. Before I knew it, I was playing Kissed by the Baddest Bidder again. It's one of those titles that feels a lot better when read in the dark. I decided to play Soryu's sequel this time. I read his epilogue last year and his route the year before that, so my memory of his relationship with the MC wasn't exactly the best, but I got through it fine. I actually powered through it in about an hour. I'm glad I managed to get the Happy Ending on the first try this time. Usually I'm terrible at picking the right choices in this game.

(One of the reasons why I played it was to have something to write about again. I miss writing about otoge.)

So here are my thoughts on the route, given to you in a very random order. The post's probably going to be a lot more brief than usual, cause there's not as much to talk about.

A Blog Update (What I've Been Playing/Reading/Watching)

My Getting Fairest Apple White is one of my favourite Ever After High dolls. I know she's not one of the more expensive dolls with billions of accessories and intricate clothing, but I still love her. Her design is very simple, but I still think she's just really pretty. At least she doesn't have a billion rings and earrings to get lost and never find again.

Every Spring I seem to get back into my doll obsession again. So I end up taking out all my dolls and brushing their hair. Then I listen to a lot of Barbie film soundtracks and read a lot of doll blogs. I used to even make movies with my dolls (I stopped because I was scared people would think I was too old for that). Then I forget about everything and repeat it all again next year.

I realised that I haven't been writing much on this blog recently. I haven't been playing otome at all, except for last month when I replayed Ron's route in Norn9 and read his after story twice in one week. I did download the demo for "EPHEMERAL - FANTASY ON DARK-" onto my Switch Lite, but I deleted it after playing it for one second because I was feeling too tired to play it.

I have been playing a lot of other games recently. Because I have nobody in real life who is interested in hearing me talk about them for hours, I'm just going to write about them in this post. I have a feeling that I'm going to be writing a lot this time...

The PSP/PS Vita Stores are Closing Soon!

UPDATE: Sony decided that they're not going to close the Vita's store after all, just the PSP's. They probably did that because of all the backlash they got online. So this post is just completely useless now.

Everyone probably already knows this, but the PSP and PS Vita online stores are going to be shut down in the summer. (The PS3's store will be too, but because I don't own one of those I don't care as much...) Luckily you'll still be able to download all of your previously purchased games, but you just won't be able to buy new things.

I'm not really that bothered about it, to be quite honest. I just don't understand why the Vita's store is being shut now, when developers are still producing software for it. It had to happen eventually though. A lot of people seem to be upset about it. It is sad that some of the digital-only games might be lost forever. But there are better things in the world to care about right now.

Since this is an otome blog, all I'm going to be discussing is the romance games (English only, I don't know about the JP ones) found on the PlayStation Stores. Luckily, the PSP and Vita don't have any true digital-only otoge. Most of them you can get on other platforms. But if you don't want to play them on PC, it's probably best to pick them up while you can.

In this post, I will try to list all the digital-exclusive otome content on the PS Store that you may or may not want to pick up before it's gone. (I will also be rambling a lot, sorry)

DIABOLIK LOVERS 9th Main Theme: "COUNT OFF" - A Review (sort of)

I suddenly feel like writing about character songs on this blog now!

Two posts ago, I wrote about this Diabolik Lovers anniversary video that came out back in December. I was quite interested in the song that played in the background. Until today, I had completely forgotten about it.

I had a bit of money left on this gift card, and was scouting the iTunes Store for something to buy. (Yes, I still purchase music instead of streaming it) Out of curiosity, I typed in "Diabolik Lovers", even though none of the character songs have ever been available outside of Japan. But that song, the song in that video was there! They also had the opening to Chaos Lineage there, but since I don't have the game, I'm not really interested in the song.

(This is the cover art, by the way)

Piofiore: Fated Memories - A Review

I've had Piofiore since it released in October, and only now have I sort of finished it. I've never taken this long to complete a game. It's not because the game is bad, it's just that I was feeling burnt out by visual novels (I think I've already mentioned this thousands of times before, oops), so I just couldn't be bothered to play half the time.

I actually didn't finish the Finale route (I got a bad ending and was too tired to restart), so technically I haven't finished the game, but I'm going to write this review anyway.

So... what are my thoughts on Piofiore?

(There are a few spoilers below, so beware!)

Diabolik Lovers is Nine Years Old, Apparently.

I would like to bring your attention towards the video below:

It came out two months ago, and I somehow missed it!

Apparently Diabolik Lovers is nine years old now. Well, technically it is almost ten, since it came out in 2011 and now we're in 2021. I literally just watched this video five minutes ago, and immediately ran to make a blog post out of it. There's not really much to say, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on it.
