A Satisfying Conclusion

(Spoilers for C:R: Future Blessings down below!)

I literally just finished Lupin's after story. I had to log on to Blogger immediately, because if I don't write about it now, I'll forget all that I wanted to say.

I think that I finally understand what Cardia's issue was, she felt that the love between her and Lupin was too one-sided, that he was doing everything for her, but she felt like she was not doing anything in return. But she could've just talked to him about it instead of doing what she did. I really did feel so sorry for Lupin in places here, first he had Van Helsing and Victor dressing up as Twilight soldiers to somehow deepen his bond with Cardia, and then his wife just randomly went on a date with two of his friends! If I was Cardia I don't think I would've gone on that date, because I would be too scared of hurting his feelings. But luckily after that they kissed and made up, and I thought that was gonna be the end of the route, but no, it went on for much longer, to my surprise.

Cardia told Lupin one night that she really wanted to know if her father really loved her or something, so the next day Lupin took her into Buckingham Palace to read Issac Beckford's diary. There was a really cute CG of Finis and Cardia (I almost called her by my real name then, because in the game I'm so used to them using that name instead of Cardia's actual name!) as little children, which was cute. And we got to actually see what Issac looked like, so that was cool. We find out here that yes, Issac did love his children. I still don't think he really liked Cardia that much since she was just an imitation, here it only mentioned that he loved his real daughter.

Then the credits rolled, and it was time for the after credits scene. I thought this bit was gonna have the CG that was on the game cover and the program icon, but it didn't come up. Impey left for America, we got to see all the other characters doing their thing and looking up at the sky, and Cardia showed Lupin this place where they could see a great view of Steel London from up above. To be honest, I don't actually think Steel London's that pretty. Yeah, I suppose all of the machines and that are cool, but on the CG it just looks like a massive industrial park full of smoke. I suppose that's what you're supposed to get when you read a steampunk themed visual novel.

It's going to be super easy to get all of the trophies for this game, as long as it doesn't glitch out like the other one. For most of these otome games I've managed to get most of the trophies, except for Amnesia where I only have 26% even though I should have one for getting all of one character's CGs. I'm glad the trophies for Code: Realize aren't "Collect every bad ending", because who has time for that?

I have no idea what to write now. I suppose I'll just conclude this post then. Goodbye.
