This post contains major spoilers for Sweet Fuse: At Your Side. This is also the last post you'll find that has been updated with a "read more" button. So scroll down the rest of the site with caution!!!

Shidou's route ended so dramatically. He died on purpose and the only way to get him back to life was to electrocute him and then for Saki to get angry. I chose the choice to restrain her instead but then he just died permanently and I got a bad ending. In this game the only way you're gonna win is by getting angry. In real life I kind of just bottle my anger towards others inside, so when I was first playing this game I always chose not to get angry, but I quickly realised that for some reason you get lots of affection points by screaming at people.

At the end of this route they never even uncovered who Hogstein really was! Speaking of Hogstein, I noticed throughout the game whilst listening to the voices that in Japanese he's not actually called "Count Hogstein", he's actually called something else. I wasn't really sure what his name really was until I heard a few of the characters say the word "maou" when referring to him. I think this word means "devil" in Japanese. Maybe that's not his actual name but just something they call him instead.

But it's still weird how you have to play the secret route to actually find out who the villain was. Unless Urabe's route actually tells us something... I literally just started it an hour ago. Is it just me, or is the romance progressing so much faster here? I'm only on the fourth day but I've already gotten so many cute romantic lines from him. I expect that at the end he's gonna turn himself into the police like Makoto did and Saki's going to have to spend her life waiting for her lover to be released. I felt a bit sorry for Saki at the end of Makoto's route because he's probably gonna be locked up for a very long time. Maybe even for the rest of his life, but maybe not because nobody really died. It would be really hard to keep their romance going if he's in prison, but there's no sequel or fan-disc so we'll probably never know what happens next, unless somebody wants to write some fan-fiction?

At the start of the game I complained that it looked super blurry on the Vita's screen, but now I actually think it looks quite good because I'm used to it. If you're worried about purchasing PSP games for your Vita, don't, because it's not that bad. You get used to it. Today I only just noticed that the sky in some of the background images has moving clouds. I don't think I've seen many otome games that do that! Sweet Fuse also has character mouth movements, which I thought was a more recent otome feature, but I suppose it isn't.

Today I got a copy of Period: Cube from Amazon in the post. As soon as I bought it, the price went up. I'm excited for this game because it has yanderes. It's a bit like Sword Art Online, complete all the MMOs, video game jargon and incest.... I'm just going to pretend that the family member love interest isn't related to the MC when I play, just to keep things from getting strange............... I bet it's still going to be a good game though. The artwork looks really pretty!

:)

I hope you all have a nice day today!
